Random Recent Pics

I took about 20 of these pictures lastnight. He is so beautiful and perfect and I am always staring at him when he's sleeping. Still my little baby.

So precious

I can't believe that so many years have passed already. Time goes by so quickly and you can't ever get it back. I need to remember to slow down and enjoy him even more while he's still somewhat little. This little boy has made me happier than I ever thought possible. I love looking back through all of my pictures and seeing how much he's changed. It's so shocking to me that my baby is about to be 6 years old next month. I'm so thankful that he's a healthy and happy little boy and that I get to be his mommy.

Happy Birthday to the best grandmother and best friend that a girl could ever have. I love everything about you. We think just a like and we can talk for hours. You helped me to become the woman and mother that I am and I'm so grateful that I have you in my life to learn from.

Lunch with Caleb!

Today I ate lunch with Caleb and his friends at school. It's one of my favorite things to do although I am always sad when I leave and have to go back to work. I just love being there with him and watching how his friends all interact with each other. I hope one day I will finish school and become a Kindergarten teacher like I have always wanted to but for now I just want Caleb to be the main kid in my life. I don't want to miss out on too much time with him since it goes so fast and school can wait for me. I want to be at home and able to play with him as much as possible. Work is enough! I can't imagine having classes to go to or even just the work for the classes. I think it's awesome that so many women can juggle work, school and kids but it's too much for me. I give those moms a lot of credit! I can barely keep up with my laundry now and I only have one kid.. Although I hope that will change in 2010! I'm trying harder than ever to talk Ryan into having atleast one more. So please wish me luck! Hopefully I will have some new pictures tomorrow. Caleb will however resemble Rudolph in them, he is getting sick I guess and his nose is a lovely shade of red...

Forgot to mention!

Monday, January 4th marked 13 years since Ryan and I started dating. We don't really do anything for that anniversary but I always remember it and call him to say "happy anniversary!" and Ryan just says "Oh, it is?" "cool, love you." It's still special to me. I can't believe we have been together so long. Almost half of my life. I can hardly remember what it was like before we were together. I'm so lucky to have found my partner so young!

Birthday Party Ideas?

Caleb's 6th Birthday is Feb. 9th. I need to get started planning now. I think this year I just want to do something at my house, atleast with the family people. Maybe do something else with some of his friends. He's so into WWE that I was trying to figure out something cool we could do involving that. I don't know. Let me know if you have any suggestions.. I'm all out of creative ideas this year. Sometimes i think girl parties would be so much easier. Also stinks to have a winter B-day and such a tiny house. That's ok, we always manage to give him a great birthday. I try to make it the best day of the year, since that day was the best of my life.

Lots of people came out to celebrate!

My 28th birthday was Weds, December 30th. I had a great day! My boys woke me up really early to give me a few gifts before Daddy left for work so it was about 3am. Then Caleb and I went back to sleep until it was time to get up and for me go to work and for him go to Grandma Brenda's. At work my friends made me muffins and other yummy breakfast treats. My desk was beautifully decorated and I had some really nice presents! My very good friend Melissa got me 2 new purses! I needed them so bad. I left at almost 2 and went to pick up Caleb. When Ryan got home he had a bag from American Eagle and some other stuff. I was VERY suprised. Next we went to dinner with Ryan's family at Long Horn, my favorite! It was great.

Also, on December 28th, Noah Van had his dedication at our Church. Isn't he a cutie?? Congratulations Noah!

Merry Christmas!

After the rain we got our yard was super muddy from the melted snow. Caleb loved getting so muddy!

New blue robe he wanted, and his air hockey table he's been asking for.

Christmas Eve at Grandma Joans

Caleb and Braydon exchanged gifts since they wouldn't be together on Christmas day.

We had a great Christmas this year. I have been super busy, and we have dial up at home, so once again I am very behind posting. I wish I could do it more often, I have so many wonderful stories all the time that I don't ever get around to sharing.. So anyways, on to my Christmas post!

Caleb had a wonderful Christmas again and it makes me so happy to see him so happy. I went to bed around 12 and woke up at 2:30 am unable to go back to sleep so I thought maybe a shower would help so at 3:30 I got in the shower. Around 5 I probably fell asleep again and was up by 7 to watch my big boy open all of his gifts from Santa. He ran to the living room and saw all the presents but it wasn't until he confirmed that Dad wasn't the one to eat all of the cookies that he finally said Yay! He came! He opened all of his gifts very slowly, really appreciating all of them and he would clean up the wrapping paper trash after each gift. (he's definitely my kid) I told him I would get it later but he insisted that he pick up after each present. The last thing he opened was his 4 wheeler key. He just kinda looked at it. I said why do you think you got a key to a 4 wheeler, and he looked very puzzled. He said I don't know?? I had to get him to keep thinking and I finally said maybe there is something outside, so we got some warm stuff on really quickly and ran outside. He was really happy and excited but his favorite gifts were actually mini air hockey and a WWE sticker book.. Next we went to Ryan's parents house for breakfast and gifts at 10am and then back home to meet with my parents, they like to come see his gifts. Then at 2pm we went to Nana's for Christmas dinner and then at 8pm we went to my Parents for another Christmas dinner. It was an exhausting but wonderful day and I really enjoyed myself! Can't wait for next year.
