Jake is 4 months!

On June 21st my baby turned 4 months.  I remembered to take his new picky sticky pics, but cant get them uploaded.  I will have to add them later :(  anyhow, here are his stats before I forget..

Jake weighed 16 lbs and 11 oz.   Caleb weighed 18 lbs and 6 oz at 4 months, so this is actually my “little” baby.  I will have to look up his length, i cant remember it!  I know that was around 50th percentile though and weight was 75th percentile.  He got one shot in each leg and he cried when the 1st one went in and held his breath and turned purple until the 2nd one was done then he was very upset until I gave him his bottle and comforted him.  I really hate those darn shots.  He goes back at 6 months.  Mommy, Daddy and big brother all went to the appointment.  Dr. Chabbra said he is absolutely perfect and that everything I’m doing is fine.  That’s always good to hear.  Jake drinks 4 bottles a day, 6 oz each.  He eats baby food twice a day and one of those times its mixed with rice cereal.  He LOVES food and has never spit any out or given me a problem.   Each new food he has tried he has torn right up like its cookies or something.  He sleeps in his crib every night from about 10 pm until 6 am and then goes back to sleep for a while after i go to work.  The rest of the day he takes little cat naps for the most part.  He loves splashing in the bathtub and he laughs a lot more now at us.  It’s the cutest thing ever.  He will just stare at his brother and smile too.  It’s so awesome.  I really need to get some pics done of the boys, and all of us I guess.   I cant wait to put up new pics around the house.   Also, jake loves to say “o”.. he’s always saying “ooooooohh” and “gooooo” with us.  He barely fits in his 9 months one piece outfits.  I really need to go shopping for a couple little things for him. 

Friday Ryan’s aunt Julie is having her new baby and I can’t wait to see if its a boy or girl!  My cousins Sarah is getting married in July and Ryan is in the wedding.  Can’t wait for that!   So many fun things going on so far this summer.  Life is great.

cell phone pic update 6/27/11

We have been so busy, I know, we all are.  But it has been so bad lately, and I’m torn.. I could stay home and miss out on some of these things and get more housework done and more rest, but I cannot stand to miss watching Caleb play ball or watching Ryan play ball and we always have so much going on between the two families and our great friends.  My crappy camera is not letting me upload my photos currently but as soon as I figure it out I will have some pics from Caleb's end of season baseball party.  The kids loved it!   Ryan had 2 softball games tues and weds of last week and he has them 2 nights again this week.  I love watching him play and Caleb loves being there too.  Caleb’s going to baseball camp in about 2 weeks with a few of his teammates.  Ryan and his assistant coach are taking them to Maryland University for 3 days in a row and the camp is 8 hours long each day.  I hope they have a great time and learn a lot!  My Jake is doing excellent!  He really loves snuggling with his little monkey lovie blankey.  Here area  few recent cell pics..

My tip for moms of teething babies.. under armour material dries REALLY fast compared to regular cotton shirts.. I highly recommend them for drooling babe..

Caleb you are such an awesome baseball player.  You make me very proud, not because of winning but because of how hard you work at it and how much you love it.  I enjoy watching you play more than anything else.  You are such a wonderful young man.  Keep up the hard work and keep having a great time.   I have never been happier than I have been the past 7 years being your mommy.

Jumperoo

I figured I may never really get caught up, so I’m just going to start going with the flow..

Here’s my almost 4 month old beautiful baby boy having fun in Caleb’s old jumperoo. 

 

If anybody has baby toys they don’t want anymore, feel free to pass them down.. He really loves the lights on the jumperoo, but has no other things that light up..  Mommy will have to fix that.
