Birthday Weekend! (I'm late..)

It was also Valentines weekend. We had dinner at La Tol Tecca on his actual B-day because he wanted to wear the big hat! That Saturday we had a family get-together for him and he got a ton of great stuff and 2 wrestlers that I pre-ordered a month before showed up by UPS as he was finishing up opening presents. It was the most perfect timing ever. We went to Disney on Ice on Valentines Day. The tickets were part of his gift from Grandma Joan.

Happy 6th Birthday Caleb!

The balloon bandits came early this morning and left lots of nice goodies and gifts!

Since school is obviously cancelled for today Caleb is at my moms house now and I am leaving work early to go get him and take him out to his dinner place of choice... Tecca!

He will get a few more gifts there and the rest at his party Saturday (if that one doesn't get cancelled too)

He doesn't know it but he's getting a Wii on Saturday! I'm so excited. It's kinda like it's my B-day too because I love playing it..

I can't believe 6 years ago today I was in labor right now. At 4:38 pm I had the most perfect baby and stared at him for days after while him and everyone else slept. I was happier than I had ever been and my prayers had been answered. I just couldn't sleep for so long. Maybe I thought it was just a dream and I would wake up? Well, it wasn't a dream! 6 years later I'm still blessed every day with the best kid ever!

Caleb's first big sleepover party was planned for tomorrow night.. Well, I guess thats not going to happen! I will have to find another date soon to do it. He was so excited and so were all his little buddies. I will have to tell him the bad news when I get home tonight. We are still going to make sure he has a great evening tomorrow night. Hopefully his best buddy/big cousin Damien is coming over for a while to watch last Sundays Royal Rumble pay per view and play for a while. A couple other people might stop by if its not too bad out. I intend to let him go crazy, jump on the beds, pillow fight, whatever.

Next weekend we are having a bigger B-day party for him with our family and some friends, maybe some of his buddies can come spend the night or hang out then!

Tuesdays the big day! He will have cupcakes at school then dinner at his place of choice (hopefully not McDonalds..) then the big party that Saturday and Disney on Ice on Valentines Day.

One of those Days!

This morning I thought I was having a pretty good morning. I got up early enough to actually dry my hair all the way and put on some make up. Had some nice cuddle time with Caleb while we watched the Cosby Show then left for school and work. I pull in to the school, we get out and walk up to the door when I realize that I am empty handed. So we go back to the truck and get his back pack and lunch box. Then I realize I forgot his towel that he has to have for rest time.. (it's so strange that they have to have a towel) anyways, then I sign him in- but its on the wrong line next to another kids name. Then I am looking everywhere to give him one more good bye hug and kiss and I can't seem to find him so I said "where's Caleb?" and about 5 kids including my own look at me like I'm nuts and say he's right there... 2 feet in front of me. Then I get to work, get my purse and my grocery bag of snacks and start walking through the parking lot very carefully. The next thing I know I am flat on my back with my groceries and purse everywhere. My left arm was hurting and I was extremely embarrassed. I felt like a bunch of co-workers were staring out the windows watching, but I don't think anyone actually saw except the nice lady that works in the other company in our building. She asked if I was ok and never laughed. I on the other hand had some sort of laughing attack which only made me feel more foolish and it went on for a good 20 minutes. I had tears coming out of my eyes. Then some screws came loose out of one of my cabinets at my desk and almost fell on my head. That would have been just my luck today! Could have been much worse I suppose. Oh, I also found out that for our next catering party that we help Ryan's grandma with, we are required to wear red bow ties.. that's gonna look so HOT! Can't wait to get a picture of Ryan...

Caleb is very excited for all of his upcoming B-day festivities.. It's starting Friday with his first sleepover party! 8 more days and my boy will be 6!
